Hanger Connection is a branch of our parent company, Woodwright Contracting Corp., a contract structural carpentry business established in Colorado in 1992.

We’re professional tradesmen that make our living in the practical execution of our clients plans. There’s a significant translation process that’s required between a design and its execution. It is our role to become aware of the design builders’ intentions and to stay keenly focused on the practical facilitation of those concepts. The balancing process is in knowing when to lean on our own expertise and when to further expand on the communication we maintain with our clients.

Our roots are in framing; however, we have extensive experience in outdoor living structures & exterior trim. We also have a professional history with industrial furniture design-build and interior trim. We’re mostly residential, and for the last 15 years, entirely custom. The conception of Hanger Connection was born out of Woodwright’s own need of custom structural hangers, connectors, railings and on demand metal fabrication.

Our history with the retro-fit nature of remodeling and deck & addition tie-ins has, on many occasions,  called for effective connection solutions that are custom, sound and attractive. Simpson’s standard application product line doesn’t always effectively accommodate this niche demand. So years ago, we stopped wasting time searching for off-the-shelf products, that often don’t exist and started making our own solutions.

Making custom hangers, as well as other iron work solutions, for our own projects has been so effective that I decided to launch Hanger Connection in order to drum up more business with the builders, architects and engineers in our area.
